Located just north of Dicky Beach and within one minute of the coastline, Battery Hill doesn’t have any direct beachfront property but still offers a traditional seaside village lifestyle within minutes from modern conveniences and the heart of Caloundra. The area has been very popular with both investors and renovators.

Housing in the suburb is mostly detached, with post-war and chamferboard properties as well as more modern brick and tile houses available. Units and townhouses have also sprung up in the area.

As with many Caloundra suburbs, residents of Battery Hill have to travel to access facilities such as Talara Primary College in Aroona, 5 mnutes from Caloundra Hospital and Caloundra Police Department, close to shops and 15 minutes away from Kawana Shopping World off Nicklin Way.

The trips to major supermarkets, primary and secondary schools, leisure facilities and parklands are also within a five minute drive.  Buses run through Battery Hill to take passengers south to Caloundra or further north to Kawana, Maroochydore and beyond.
