Aroona, located west of the Nicklin Way behind beachfront Caloundra, consists mainly of traditional brick and tile homes along with some newer beach house-style homes.

Aroona used to be classed as being 'on the edge of town'  - when Ridge Haven was being developed it was in the back blocks! Now the development of surrounding suburbs such as Meridan Plains, Creekside and Kawana Forest and the creation of major roads has placed Aroona right in the heart of the action. Living in Aroona, you would only be maximum 15 minutes from Caloundra CBD, including beaches, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and sporting facilities. If views are what you're after, some home offer views across to Caloundra and out to the Coral Sea.

Shops, such as Woolworths, Talara Primary College and Bella Grace Early Learning Centre, the area has become a very central point with easy access. Aroona has always been a family-oriented residential area with a number of parks and lots of birdlife.  Ridgehaven Park is also a central park for kids to play at and his dog-friendly.

Caloundra Stockland shopping centre off Bowman Road is only 10 minutes from the beautiful Aroona, as well as being 7 minutes away from Caloundra Hospital and Caloundra Police Station, close to service stations and being 15 minutes to Kawana Shopping World for those big shopping trips!
